The herbicide Rescue with pinoxadin as the active ingredient, was sprayed in certain parts of the rough to get rid of the Ryegrass so that the Fescue can be the dominant species in these areas.
The look of Fescue is perceived to be more aesthetically pleasing by the one of the senior greenkeepers.
