Control of strangling creeper

Ivy can be detrimental to a tree if left to run rampant.  Perhaps the easiest and most effective method of control is to sever the top section of the creeper from its roots. The ivy pictured here is Hedera rhombea ( http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivy )

Oak Processionary Moth survey

All oak trees that have been surveyed for Thaumetopoea processionea are labelled using spray paint.  If a tree is infected, it will need to be treated to get rid of the moth and prevent it spreading to other nearby trees.
